THOMAS, JOHN DAVID, "LITTLE JOHN", 70 , passed away at his home on September 12, 2021. John was born on June 29, 1951 in El Dorado to Jack Orville and Mildred Edith (Anders) Thomas and attended El Dorado schools. At a very young age John began helping his dad in the oil fields and continued that as his career for most of his life; also working as an electrical lineman for a period of time. John enjoyed going to flea markets and was a tinkerer, always working on cars or motorcycles, motorized bikes or anything he could make go. As a life of the party there were never any dull moments with John around because he was very witty and always a comedian that knew no strangers. He enjoyed time he got to spend with his family and all his lady friends and loved to share his hobbies and interests with his girls.

J ohn is survived by his children Terri Thomas Gorges(Jason), Curt Yoder(Tiziana), Misty Giefer(Greg) and Andrea Thomas(Jamie Tucker); 13 grandchildren, 7 great grandchildren; mother Edith; siblings Jay Thomas and Doris "Ralph" Thomas; many cousins, other family and friends. John was preceded in death by his father Jack and siblings Jack Thomas, Jr., Tyler "Jim" Thomas, Angel Dewitt and Barbara Olsen.

V isitation will be held on Friday, September 17, 2021 at 2:00 p.m. at Heritage Funeral Home, 206 E. Central Ave., El Dorado.
