John Louis Schupp Jr, 73 passed away February 10, 2023. He was born in El Dorado and grew up in the Benton/Towanda area attending Circle High School. He began working at an early age on nearby farms, and other jobs. John met Peggy and they married a short time after. This was the beginning of his family soon many children would be added. John felt his family was one of his greatest accomplishments. He was an avid hunter and fisher as long as the children were not scaring off the wildlife. John looked forward to coffee with his friends. While he was soft hearted, he still managed to earn the title "Grumpy" from the grandchildren. He was hardworking and dedicated to his family. John will be greatly missed.

John was proceeded in death by his parents John and Cora "McCune" Schupp, Three sisters, 1 child (infant Schupp) and one great granddaughter.

He is survived by His wife Peggy "Griffith", Children Jeremy Bidwell of El Dorado, Allison (Chris) Smith of Mount Hope, Bobbie (Terry) Jordan of El Dorado, Josh (Lisa) Schupp of Winfield, Hank (Significant Other Nichole) Schupp of Wichita, Billy (Holly) Schupp of El Dorado, Jessy Schupp of El Dorado, and 42 grandchildren, and 28 great grandchildren.

A memorial service will be held 4:00PM February 19th at Family Worship center located at 701 S Atchison El Dorado,  Kansas
