Jimmy "Jim" Robert Grossman SR. 77 passed away on June 7, 2023 at Wesley Medical Center. Jim was born on December 17, 1945 to Robert and June Grossman in McCook Nebraska. He attended the Nebraska School for the Deaf (NSD) in Omaha, Nebraska where he graduated in 1966. Jim then returned home where he worked for his dad at Bob's Jeep Dealership. After leaving the dealership Jim took a job at the butcher plant where he worked till his retirement in 1991. In 2018 Jim met Juanita Byrd and they were married on August 14, 2021. Jim was a simple man who enjoyed spending his retirement keeping up with the news and football; especially his Seattle Seahawks and KC Chiefs; on the television. Between the TV and the time he enjoyed mowing his yard, Jim made time for his most favorite thing; his family.  Jim will be remembered as a caring and loving father, grandfather and friend who was very funny and a tad bit ornery.

J im is survived by his wife Juanita; son Jimmy R. Grossman, Jr.; daughter Krista Grossman; stepchildren Julie Evans and Lloyd McGinnis; 11 grandchildren; 7 great grandchildren; his beloved Dachshund Daisy and many other family and friends. He was preceded in death by a son Patrick Grossman; and brother Billy Grossman.
