Jerry Lloyd Pruitt was born in Jenks, Oklahoma on June 15, 1948 to Christopher Samuel and Beulah Lavena (Cope) Pruitt. He passed away on September 1, 2022 in Rose Hill, Kansas.

He is preceded in death by his parents;  brothers - Roy, Samuel Duane,  and James; sisters – Pauline, Lorene, and son-in -law, Chris Dorser.

He is survived by his daughters – Sheryl and family; Tabatha and children Alexis and Brady Dorser, Emily & husband Ty King and great granddaughters Elsie and Norah King; Son – Roy Matthew & wife Kristy and children Jett and Madison Pruitt; Brothers – Earl Pruitt, Robert Pruitt, Johnny and wife Karolyn Pruitt, Sisters Christine Jansen, Thelma Summers, and many nieces, nephews , cousins and friends.  He will be missed by all.

J.P. enjoyed Asphalt, Bars, Casinos, Cookies and Ice Cream, Westerns, Flim- Flams and running amok.

A celebration of life will be held on September 5, 2022 in Rose Hill, Kansas.
