ALLARD, JERRY, 78, took his final motorcycle trip... to heaven on Tuesday, May 29, 2018. He is predeceased by his parents,  Vera and Leslie Allard, his five siblings and their spouses and his beloved son Garrett Leslie. Survivors include his wife of 38 years,  Anita "Swain" Allard, daughter Karen Sydow (Sam), his step daughter LaBecca Waddell (Jeff), his in laws Woody and Barbara Swain and Kathryn and Rob Scott, as well as many nieces and nephews.

J erry grew up in Osawatamie, KS and later moved to Wichita where he graduated from Wichita High School East. After graduating he joined the Army where he was a proud member of the 101st Airborne Division out of Ft. Campbell,  KY. After his honorable discharge, he moved to Albuquerque, NM to work in his brother in laws auto parts business.  He brought his aptitude for all things mechanical back to Wichita and was the service manager for "#1 Cycles" prior to helping open "Kawasaki Connection". He then went to work for "Cullum and Brown" which specialized in industrial air compressors and generators eventually starting his own business "Air Compressor Services".

J erry loved being outdoors and was happiest when he was shooting sporting clays, hunting,  boating, scuba diving or driving one of his motorcycles.

G raveside service will be held Saturday, June 2, 2018 at 2:00 p.m. at Bruno Township Cemetery,  Andover,  KS.

A memorial has been established with the Alzheimer's Association in support of the "Comfort Crusaders Walking Team" for the "Walk to End Alzheimer's". Tax deductible contributions may be sent to the Alzheimer's Association,  1820 E. Douglas, Wichita,  KS 67214.
