Jeffrey "Jeff"
Lee Bork
July 13, 1959 — December 30, 2025
Augusta
Jeffrey "Jeff" Lee Bork , age 66, passed away peacefully on December 30, 2025. He was born on July 13, 1959, in Fremont, Ohio, to Neal and Elaine Bork.
At an early age, Jeff and his family moved to Arizona, where he received his education. Fate later brought him to Augusta, Kansas, where he began a career in law enforcement. During this time, Jeff married and started his family, welcoming a wife and three children into his life.
Work eventually led Jeff back to Arizona, in some ways a difficult chapter that ultimately marked the beginning of a long and successful career with Home Depot. Through hard work, determination, and a natural ability to connect with people, Jeff rose through the ranks to become assistant manager and played a key role in opening new stores across the country. Though his work often kept him busy, he always found time for his children and took pride in being part of their lives.
Life granted Jeff a second chance at love, and he remarried, adding two more children to his growing family. After retiring from Home Depot, Jeff continued working various jobs while awaiting full retirement, never one to sit still for long and gave love one more chance.
In 2008, Jeff met Jasmine, and together they proved that the third time truly was the charm. Their marriage was filled with companionship, laughter, and shared enjoyment of life.
Jeff was known as a true social butterfly—charismatic, friendly, and always eager to strike up a conversation, even with complete strangers. He was a devoted fan of the Dallas Cowboys and the Arizona Wildcats. His law enforcement background sparked a lifelong interest in firearms, and he had a deep, loving appreciation for classic cars, from the '55 Chevy to the muscle cars of the '60's and '70's. Above all, Jeff was always ready and willing to lend a hand to anyone in need.
Jeff was preceded in death by his parents, Neal and Elaine Bork.
He is survived by his beloved wife, Jasmine; his brother Scott; his seven children; and his nineteen grandchildren, all of whom will carry forward his legacy of hard work, generosity, and warmth.
A service to celebrate Jeff's life will be held at 11:00 A.M. on January 10, 2026, at Heritage Funeral Home, 502 W. Central, Andover, Kansas 67002. Burial will follow at 12:00 P.M. at Elmwood Cemetery, 501 12th Ave., Augusta, Kansas 67010.
