JONES, JAY CURTIS, 62 , truck driver and Army National Guard Veteran, passed away. Jay was born on March 18, 1958 in Wichita, KS to Glen and Hazel Pearl (Ewing) Jones. He attended Wichita schools through junior high but quickly heard the road calling his name. He was married to Elizabeth Hallett for 17 years and they had 4 children together. Jay was very social and enjoyed hanging out and talking trucking and motorcycles with anybody that shared those passions. Being on the road and living the free life was one of Jay's greatest enjoyments, whether it be riding motorcycles or the 45 years he spent driving trucks going by the handle "JJ". He loved telling stories and was very good at it for being a "usually quite guy". He loved to spend time with his 5 grandkids.

J ay is survived by his girlfriend Cheryl Briscoe; children Ashlee Weaver(Brock), Jerad Jones(Tessa), Jessica Jones and Matthew Jones(Jacqueline); brother Glen Jones, Jr.; grandchildren Adaline Weaver, Dawson Jones, Preslie Jones, Malia Jones and Braylynn Jones and many other family and friends. He was preceded in death by his parents Glen and Hazel.
