CHAMNESS, JAMES I. "Jim", 79 , passed away on August 31, 2017 at his home in El Dorado surrounded by his family. He was born on April 23, 1938 in Carthage, Missouri. Jim enjoyed taking care of his family and traveling the back roads of the USA. He loved fishing and hunting and raising a garden. He also enjoyed sitting under a shade tree drinking a beer. James retired from the KTA.

J ames is survived by his companion and wife of 31 years Ellen Jo; daughters Lisa Marie of Leon, Trisa Marie of Augusta and Deborah; grandchildren Ashlyn of Leon, Christian, Brittany and Kaitlyn and many other family and friends. He was preceded in death by his parents, 5 brothers and 1 sister.

I nurnment will be in Sunset Lawns Cemetery on Friday, September 8, 2017 at 1:00 p.m with Pastor Don Mayberry officiating.
