Jacqueline Lynn
Green
February 15, 1972 — December 5, 2019
Haysville
J ackie's journey began Feb. 15, 1972 where she was born and raised in Wichita, KS by her mother, Carol. Jackie grew up with six brothers and sisters and the house was always crazy! During Jackie's teenage years she practiced how her personality should shine through via outfits, hair, makeup, and general attitude towards life. Her family laughed about the bright blue eye-shadow, permed-out hair, and shoulder pads for days that she experimented with. She married Mark on May 28, 1996 and together they raised three -- very ornery-- children, Ashley, Brittney, and Nicholas. Throughout the last 47 years, Jackie has touched the lives of many such as Kenny and Coy Cross, Gary and Susan Sommers, and so many more! Jackie was passionate about her kids and grand kids, but her passions didn't end there as she enjoyed reading novels of all kinds and doing puzzles like jigsaw,Sudoku, crossword and word searches. Jackie's biggest pleasure was going on vacations such as Table Rock lake in Branson, MO, the tanning conventions.
B ut Jackie's favorite thing was cruising with family and friends -- she and Mark had been on 18 cruises in the last 20 years and was already planning another.
J ackie was the type of person who would do anything for anyone, including giving the shirt off her back. Her career stayed in the accounting field but recently she had made a change in location and started at Mennonite housing in Sept. 2019 where she was the accounting assistant; Mennonite shared a common goal with Jackie in that they assist people in need.
J ackie and Mark embarked on business adventures together and owned tanning salons, a cleaning business and, most recently, a car dealership. Jackie's interest in cars grew with her favorite being the Mustang, she finally acquired one in April 2019 and throughout the summer the top was almost always down.
