Jacob Grant Hamilton, age 24 , of Augusta, KS, passed away on April 24, 2024. Born on June 1, 1999, in Lapeer, Michigan, Jacob was the beloved son of Sean Henry Hamilton and Jodie Rae Hamilton.

Jacob spent his early years in a few small towns in Kansas and Northwestern United States. As a boy, he was an active member of the Boy Scouts of America, proudly earning the prestigious Eagle Scout Merit. His passion for learning and adventure continued throughout his life, evident in his diverse career and hobbies.

Jacob's professional journey was as varied as it was impactful. He worked as an Independent Lumberman with Wrights Tree Service, a contractor for the railroad building bridges, and was a dedicated member of the International Brotherhood of Electrical Workers. Regardless of the job, Jacob's commitment and work ethic were always evident.

A true outdoorsman, Jacob loved camping, fishing, and bonfires. He found joy in the simple pleasures of life, like spending time with his family and friends, and riding anything that went fast – from four-wheelers to motorcycles. His passion for mechanics and tinkering with motors, particularly old farm machinery, brought him immense satisfaction. Jacob cherished attending tractor shows, where he enjoyed the company of older generations, listening to their stories and learning from their life experiences.

Jacob was known for his kind, generous heart. He was always ready to help a friend in need, often putting others before himself. His witty sense of humor and infectious personality could light up any room, making him a joy to be around. Despite any struggles he faced, Jacob made it his mission to uplift those around him.

Jacob is survived by his father Sean Hamilton (Michelle); his mother Jodie Hamilton; his fiancée Kali Henry; his brother Chandler; his three sisters; his beloved cat Timothy; his loyal dog BuckfXXker; and numerous other family members and friends. His absence leaves a void in the hearts of all who knew him, but his spirit and the memories he created will live on forever.

A celebration of Jacob's life will be held at a later date, where friends and family can gather to honor the remarkable young man who brought so much light and love into their lives.
