MOSIER, HAYWARD "LADOYT", 74, was born November 15, 1946, to Hayward and Euda Copeland Mosier in El Dorado, KS. He passed on August 18, 2021, in Wichita, KS, at the age of 74.

L aDoyt grew up in El Dorado, KS graduating in 1964 from El Dorado High School. He worked at the local IGA grocery store and El Dorado refinery, then attended Wichita State University, studying aeronautical engineering.  In 1968 he was drafted into the US Army, where he served as a chaplain's assistant in Vietnam. It was there that his personal faith in Jesus Christ began to grow. LaDoyt married Jeanette Smuck on October 3,1981, and they were blessed with 4 children whom they homeschooled together through high school. He was a dedicated husband and father.

L aDoyt loved airplanes and earned his private pilots' license at the age of 34. He worked for Boeing and Beechcraft in Wichita, his favorite position being Flight test Engineer. In 2001 he moved his family to Savannah, GA, so he could work at Gulfstream Aerospace. He loved his job there, but Kansas was always home. He returned in 2012 to reluctant retirement. He also loved working on cars. He was devoted to fixing mechanical and electrical problems and used that skill to serve many people.

H e loved music and led singing at Freedom Bible Fellowship, where he also served as a deacon.

A s a passionate pro-life advocate, he joined Jeanette in faithfully serving the Pregnancy and Family Resource Center in Augusta, KS. He was very proud of his eleven grandchildren and enjoyed his time with them.

H is other passion was the Bible-Science Association advocating Genesis Account of Creation.

L aDoyt was preceded in death by his father, Hayward, and his mother, Euda.

H e leaves behind his Beloved wife Jeanette of Towanda, KS; son, Michael and his wife Angela and their children, Lisa and Jason, of Bel Aire, KS; Son, Matthew of Savannah, GA; Son, Malachi and his wife Cara and their children, Marie, Marcus, and Maridith of Savannah, GA; Daughter Miriam and her husband Wes and their children Drew, Elsie, Juli, Isaac, Abby, and Nathan; LaDoyt also leaves behind his brother Dennis and wife Susan of Kingwood, TX and many loving nieces and nephews.

V isitation will be held from 6:00 p.m. to 8:00 p.m. on Sunday, August 22, 2021 at Heritage Funeral Home, 206 E. Central Ave., El Dorado. Funeral service will be held on Monday, August 23, 2021 at 10:00 a.m. at Metro East Baptist Church, 333 N. 143rd St., Wichita, KS. Interment will be held at 2:00 p.m. on Monday, August 23, 2021 at Sunset Lawns Cemetery, 2100 Sunset Rd., El Dorado with Military Honors.

F amily requests memorial donations be made to Jeanette to assist with medical and funeral expenses.
