Glennis Lea Cochran, 58 , of Benton, was born on July 10, 1964. She was the seventh of nine children. She passed on September 17, 2022 after a short battle with lung cancer. She grew up in Butler County and attended school in the Circle school district. She and husband Glenn were married on June 13th, 1988. She was preceded in death by her parents Oliver Leroy Chandler and Rogene Chandler-Goff, and brothers Allan and Ivan Chandler. She is survived by husband, Glenn, of the home; daughters Pamela (Darrin) Dunkin of Oklahoma City, Cherri Claxton (Daniel Robison) of Wichita, and Allison Cochran of Towanda; five grandchildren, Alexus, Kane, and Duane Poole, Garrett Carley, and Joseph Claxton III; brothers David Chandler of Wichita, Farrel Chandler of Topeka, and Harold Chandler of El Dorado; sisters Beverly Morris of Wichita, Cheryl Abmeyer of Topeka, and Ellen Fletcher of Wichita; and numerous nieces, nephews, extended family and friends.
