George Denson Greer, 62

George's life began on February 24, 1959 in El Dorado, KS; the son of JoAnn Coons and Jack Greer. He passed away on August 22, 2021 at Wesley Hospital in Wichita from COVID complications. He was a lifelong resident of El Dorado and enjoyed the scenic country drives.

George started working for his dad's business, Greer's Sandblasting, at a young age. He was most recently a forklift operator for CDH, Inc.

In his free time, you could find him with his companion Brenda Buck. They enjoyed fishing, camping, cooking out, and the occasional beer with his dog Tanner at his side.
George is survived by his companion, Brenda Buck, his daughters Amy Greer, Shaina Hiedeman (Buddy), and son, Andrew Greer. Sisters Carole Sanders, Jackie Brooks (Ed), Carla Buckner (Jay), Maria Wilson (Bryan), Lorena Hathaway, Gail Warren (Murphy), Julie Comitini (Todd), Regina Mason, and Angie Mason. Brothers Greg Greer (Kim), Wayne Hathaway (Therese), Sam Mason and Victor Mason.

George is preceded in death by his parents, JoAnn (Coons) Clayton and Patricia and Jack Greer, his sister Valerie Gomez and brothers Roderick and Stephen Greer.

No services will be held per George's request.
