GILLETT, GARY WAYNE, 73, passed away on Sunday, June 6, 2021 at The Center at Waterfront. Gary was born on July 5, 1947 to Raymond and Virginia "Heck" Gillett, graduated from Andover High in 1967 and attended Pittsburg State University. On May 28, 1978 Gary married Cynthia Wilson in Benton. He worked as a machinist for Cessna, Beech and Boeing for over 45 years, Gary retired from Spirit in 2014. After retirement he went to work for O'Reilly's as a delivery driver. Gary was a very reliable and giving person that everyone could count on for anything; he was Mr. Fix It not only for his family but the whole neighborhood. Shy and quiet were definitely how many described Gary but he always wanted to help people, often stopping for motorists on the side of the road. Gary and Cyndee enjoyed taking trips, so long as Gary could drive to the destination.

G ary is survived by his wife Cyndee; children Dwayne Wilson(Sara), Michael Wilson, and Stephanie Murphy(Kevin); grandchildren Tanner Oakleaf-Wilson(Melisha), Devin Wilson, Kollin Murphy, Kole Murphy, Jace Wilson and Kaitlyn Murphy; great grandchildren Willow, Austen and Gideon Oakleaf-Wilson; many other family and friends. He was preceded in death by his parents Raymond and Virginia and brother James.
