Freddie "Pete" Arthur Henderson, 87 , passed away in his home in ElDorado, on Saturday, March 15, 2025. Pete was born on March 13, 1938 in Billings, Oklahoma to Fred and Lula Mae (Goodin) Henderson.

The family settled in ElDorado in the 1940's, where he finished 12 years of schooling at ElDorado High School. His early working years were spent working in the oil fields as a roustabout, then settled at Hogoboom, working as an auto body man.

He met the love of his life, Betty May Wright in junior high and they were married May 24, 1958. "This I will remember, when all of life is through, the finest thing I've ever done, is simply loving you." Pete Henderson.

Pete will be greatly missed by his wife, Betty Henderson, four children: Peggy, Eddie, Peter and Debbie. Other survivors include: two sisters Connie Nichols of Augusta, and Linda Davis of ElDorado. Twelve grandchildren and 31 great grandchildren as well as many nieces and nephews.

He was proceeded in-death by his parents, one sister, two brothers and one grandson-in-law.

A memorial will be held at Heritage Funeral Home in El Dorado on March 24, 2025 at 10:00 a.m., followed by a graveside blessing at Sunset Lawns Cemetery.
