passed away June 20, 2020 in Douglass, Kansas.
Born to Jules Edwin Klapps, and Shirley LaQua in Shawano, Wisconsin on December 29, 1975.

he Klapps family moved to Kansas when Gene was just four years old, but it was a perfect fit for the young boy.
Gene couldn't say no to an adventure- whether it was riding down a river on Styrofoam, or taking apart his mom's fan and not being able to put it back together- trouble always seemed to find him.
H
e liked to spend his days in the great outdoors, and was often fishing.
He will be remembered as a confident, adventurous man, who loved his family and would always do what he could to help.
