DOCKERS, ELEANOR ELIZABETH, 77 , passed away on Thursday, April 26, 2018 at Life Care Center of Andover. Eleanor was born on February 23, 1941 in Cherryvale, KS to Sylvester and Mary "Townsell" Moon. She was raised in Blackwell, Oklahoma where her parents operated a Flower Shop and Nursery, and graduated from Blackwell High. Eleanor was a Campfire Girl as she was growing up and had many lifelong friends from her time spent there. She married Nick Dockers and they spent 50+ years together raising their family. Eleanor worked in social services her whole life in foster care and caring for the developmentally disabled. She had a servant's heart that allowed her to love everybody and embrace the positives within them.

E leanor is survived by her husband Nick; sons James Dockers (Jean), Steve Dockers, David Dockers (Amy) and Bryan Dockers; 13 grandchildren; 9 great-grandchildren; brothers Bob Moon, Bill Moon, Mike Moon, Tony Moon, Charlie Moon, and their spouses; many nieces, nephews, other family and friends. She was preceded in death by her parents Sylvester and Mary and two grandchildren Jennifer and Addelyn.

M emorial services will be May 5, 2018 at 10:00 a.m. at St. Vincent de Paul Church, 123 N Andover Rd., Andover.

The family asks that memorial donations be made in Eleanor's memory to a charity of your choice.

E leanor always greeted everyone with open arms and a warm smile and she will forever be remembered in one word as LOVE.
