KENDEL, DEWAYNE HENRY, 65 , passed away on October 12, 2020 at Harry Hynes Memorial Hospice. He was born on June 16, 1955 to Clifton and Johnnie "Brooks" Kendel in Pine Bluff, Arkansas.

O ne of the things that brought him happiness was spending time sitting on his porch with his family and friends listening to music and his dog Zenna. Henry enjoyed cooking and grilling food for his block parties and making his food, sauces and barbecue ribs from scratch.

H e is preceded in death by parents Clifton and Johnnie B. Kendel, brothers Albert and Elvis Ray Kendel, a nephew Elvis (Chuck) Kendel II and his beloved dog Zenna.

H enry leaves to Cherish his memory: his daughters Karista Kendel of El Dorado; Kaitlin Kendel of Norman Oklahoma; Christina Mosher of Plattsmouth, NE; son Corey Merlock of Jenks, OK; sisters Cynthia (Mac) Theodore of Appollo Beach, FL; Doris Todd of Topeka, KS; Nephews Chris (Prairie) Todd of Wichita, KS; Darius Simmons of Arlington, TX; nieces Cynthia (John) Chambers of Fayatteville, NC; Adrieanna Theodore of Bartow, FL; Anjella Theodore of Appollo Beach, FL; Deanna Brown, Teresa Jones, Sheila Morrow, Lakeshia Kendel; and sister-in-law Mary Kendel, all of Pine Bluff, AK; and a host of great nieces, great nephews, cousins and friends.
