Dennis Lynn Pennebaker passed away on May 11, 2025 at Wesley Medical Center with his loving wife by his side. Dennis was born in Emporia to Frank and Viriginia (Strahm) Pennebaker in Virgil, Kansas. The family moved to Eureka in 1961 where Dennis attended grade school, junior high and graduated from in 1971. After graduation he went to college at Coffeyville for a short time. Dennis married Barbara Combs in 1977 at the United Methodist Church. They had their first son Aaron in Eureka and later moved to Wichita where Dennis got a job at Cessna Aircraft. He later moved to Beech where he retired from as a jig and fixture builder.

Dennis is survived by his loving wife Barbara; his sons Aaron and Ryan; 2 sisters; 1 brother and many other family and friends. He was preceded in death by his parents Frank and Virginia and 1 brother.
