Born on July 2, 1957, in Inglewood, CA, Dennis was the beloved son of Lloyd and Anita (Scrivani) Hosack. Dennis grew up in a loving family, attending Crenshaw Elementary and later graduating from West Torrance High School with the Class of 1976. In 1985, fate brought Dennis together with Pamela Bennett at a dog show on a blind date, leading to their marriage on September 16, 1989. Their life together was a testament to love and partnership, filled with mutual support and countless cherished moments. Seeking a career closer to home, Dennis became an Early Childhood Assistant, a role he found immensely rewarding. His passion for education led him to return to school, earning his Bachelor's Degree and becoming a Lead Teacher at Site 18 in Palmdale, CA. His dedication and excellence in teaching earned him the Teacher of the Year award six times, a testament to his impact on countless young lives. He retired in June 2023, leaving behind a legacy of inspiration and commitment.

A true jack-of-all-trades, Dennis excelled in artistic endeavors, creating beautiful pottery, ceramics, woodworking pieces, and paintings, particularly his signature scary clowns. He actively participated in art shows, proudly displaying and selling his creations. His creativity extended to making wedding veils for his sister and daughter, showcasing his diverse skills that he in turn passed on to his daughter Ariel. Dennis was also a green thumb, cultivating a lush vegetable garden and earning a reputation as an "animal whisperer." His home was a lively menagerie, filled with ostriches, llamas, koi fish, and various other animals.
Family was the cornerstone of Dennis's life. His greatest joy came from his loved ones, and he was always ready to help, especially spending a lot of time with his nephew Christopher and niece Caitlyn; teaching them to have fun. Dennis's legacy of love and compassion lives on in the hearts of his family and friends.
Dennis is survived by his loving wife Pamela L. Hosack; daughter Ariel Hosack (Fernando); sister Pam Egger (Mark); niece Caitlyn Egger (Chase); nephew Christopher Egger (Amanda) and their daughter Charlotte "Charlie"; and numerous other family members and friends.
