Debbie Lee Hadley Puent, 68 years young, passed away July 8th, 2022 from brian cancer. She was born to Wanda Stevenson and Jack Hadley on September 23rd, 1953 in Arkansas City. She relocated to Wichita with her family in 1960. Debbie graduated from Southeast High School in 1971 and then became a lab technician. She worked in the medical field for over 25 years. In 1984, Debbie married her long time partner Craig Puent in Kansas City. They had a daughter in 1987. Craig died in December of 2003. Debbie met another partner, Robbie Cady of Wichita. They have lived together for the past 18 years.

Debbie had a passion for sports, especially for the Chiefs football. Debbie loved music and was constantly listening wherever she went, the radio was always on. She admired anyone who could 'slap the guitar', some of her favorites were Bonnie Ratt, The Rolling Stones and Fleetwood Mac.  She also loved her animals, having several dogs, and birds over the years.

Debbie is proceeded in death by her husband Criag, mother Wanda Stevenson, stepfather Charles Mitchell, father Jack Hadley, stepmother Roberta Hadley. She is survived by her daughter Samantha Rasmussen (Adam), grandsons Oliver Troy and Riker Craig , long time companion Robbie Cady, sister Janice Miller, brothers Greg Mitchell, Steve Mitchell, Matt Mitchell, along with several cousins, nieces and nephews.

Graveside service will be on Friday, July 22nd 10 am at the Andover Cemetery on 21st and Andover Rd.
