Debra (Linscott) Olthoff passed away at home with hospice care on January 8, 2020 surrounded by her family. She was born on February 15, 1955 in Wichita, Kansas to Joseph "Bud" and Joyce Linscott. She lived in the Wichita area most of her life.

Through the years, Debra worked at a variety of jobs including the family business, Easton Manufacturing and owned Country Kitchen restaurant in Cheney, Kansas. She enjoyed spending her time with family, playing cards, and shopping. In the past, she played on several local bowling leagues, loved water skiing, and spent weekends at their family property in Oklahoma. She always had a love for animals, hummingbirds, and sunflowers. In 1996, she met Alden Olthoff, the love of her life and then married him at his family farm house in Cheney. Debra and Alden were the perfect match and complemented each other's strengths and weaknesses. He was the calming force she needed. For more than 15 years, they were inseparable until Alden passed away in January 2015. Over the years, Debra spent as much time as she could with her children and their families and called daily to check in with them.

Debra is survived by her mother, Joyce (Billingsly) Linscott, Wichita, KS; her brother, David "Bruce" Linscott, Wichita, KS; her children, Christopher Miller, Andover, KS; and Autumn (Dunn) Knipp, Goddard, KS. She is also survived by eight grandchildren, Annette Athy, Erin (Athy) Jordan, Cody Olthoff, Jody Olthoff, Cameron Qualls, Rain Lance, Zoey Athy-Miller, and Renee Knipp; many great-grandchildren and extended family. Debra was known as Grandma to many, many others who loved her, too.

Debra is preceded in death by her father, Joseph "Bud" Linscott; her sister, Kim (Linscott) Mills; her husband, Alden Olthoff; and many other friends and family.

According to Debra wishes, the family will not hold a funeral service. However, a celebration of life will be held at the Park Villa at North Riverside Park on January 18, 2020 from 4-6pm. During this open house, we invite you to come and share memories of Debra and her life with her family and friends. Riverside Villa is located at 1029 Bitting Street in Wichita, KS 67203.
