MOLINA, DEBRA ANN "DEBBIE", 67 , of Andover, Kansas, passed away peacefully on April 24, 2024, at the Kansas Medical Center in Andover. Born on January 18, 1957, in Kimball, Nebraska, to Joseph Krohn and Johanna Maria "Bollig" Hanson, Debbie's early life was marked by frequent moves due to her father's career in the oilfield business. This nomadic lifestyle took her family from Colorado to Andover, Kansas, a place that Debbie and her siblings warmly called home.

Debbie was a graduate of Sterling High School in Colorado, where she was also an active softball player, a passion that remained with her throughout her life. She attended college in the same town, continuing her engagement with softball and beginning to shape her future diverse career path.

Debbie was a woman of many talents and interests. She embarked on various professional ventures throughout her life, including roles in retail, customer service, and oilfield sales. However, her true passion lay in the culinary arts, where she excelled as a chef. Debbie held positions as a banquet manager and kitchen manager at numerous prestigious restaurants and hotels. Her culinary career was filled with exciting encounters with celebrities, stories of whom she often shared with delight or dismay with her family and friends.

For a time, while living in Arizona, Debbie also served as a police officer, showcasing her versatility and courage. Beyond her professional life, she was a dedicated mother to four wonderful children, whom she raised with a blend of humor, strength, and an unapologetic candor that she is fondly remembered for.

Debbie's interests included golfing, reading romance novels, and indulging in her favorite reality TV shows. Her sharp wit and sarcastic humor were as much a part of her as her generous spirit and readiness to speak her mind, traits she proudly passed on to her children.

Debbie leaves behind a loving family, including her children, Adrianne, Michael, Brenna, and Deann; eight grandchildren; one great-grandchild; siblings Rick and Lori; and her beloved dog, Scooby. She also leaves a legacy of friends and those touched by her vibrant personality and zest for life.

A memorial service to celebrate Debbie's life will be held on Monday, April 29, 2024, at 1:00 p.m. at Faith Baptist Church, 417 W. Central Ave., Andover, Kansas. In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to the Davita Dialysis, 626 S. Andover Rd., Ste 900, Andover, KS 67002.

Debbie will be missed deeply by all who knew her, remembered forever for the light she brought into the world and the lives she touched.
