Reed, David Harold, 74 , was born June 20, 1948 in Sedalia, Missouri to Harold and Ruth Mayo Reed.

He died October 22, 2022.

He graduated from Boonville High School in Boonville, Missouri and served for a short time in the U.S. Army. He loved sports, music and traveling. He also had a special place in his heart for animals, especially dogs.

He married Kathie Reed on July 6, 1992. They were married almost 29 years until she preceded him in death on March 7, 2021.

He previously owned a screen printing business for several years in Wichita. Following that he worked at Total Printing Solutions for many more years until his health would no longer allow.

During his life time, his love of music led him to be in several bands. The most recent being with Trent Crisswell Band where he played the 5 string bass guitar and sang harmony. It was known to be said that he was the best bass player west of the Mississippi.

He was p receded in death by his parents, his wife Kathie, sons David Reed, Jr. and John Reed., and infant sister Tammy Reed.

He is survived by his son Andrew Reed of Wichita, step daughter Kimber (Gary) Kasitz of Wichita, brother Dennis (Kathy) Reed of Pahrump, NV., sisters, Susan McDaniel of Arrow Rock, MO. and Lisa (Robert) Young of Sedalia, MO., six grandchildren: Hayley Jennings, Emma, Katie and Grant Kaiser, Jaden and Lexi Kasitz .
