COOK, DAVID ALLEN, 41, Front end manager for Superior Services, passed away on Tuesday, June 19, 2018. David was born on January 21, 1977 in Salina, KS to Daniel and Frances "Anderson" Cook. David spent most of his life in Hutchinson until the last 8 years when he moved to the Benton, El Dorado area. He loved anything cars, fixing them up, driving them and going fast. He enjoyed fishing, watching football and car shows and loved to spend time with his family. He knew a lot of useless facts and was very witting. David was very caring, a friend to the the worst enemy, and always willing to help another person and would give the shirt off his back to someone in need. He was a great story teller and an advocate for recovery. David had a way to make everybody feel important; like they were his number one; no matter who they were or what they were going through.

D avid is survived by his mother and father; children Zachary, Quinten, Dawson and Claire; siblings Jeremy, Walter and Echo Cook and Shawn Yoakem;  nieces and nephews CaTessa Cook, Ivory Yoakem, Sabrina Cook, Ethan Yoakem and Joslin Cook; many aunts, uncles, other family and friends.

V isitation will be held on Tuesday, June 26, 2018 from 6:00 p.m. to 8:00 p.m. at Heritage Funeral Home, 502 W. Central Ave., Andover. Funeral service is scheduled at 10:00 a.m. on Wednesday, June 27, 2018 at the Benton Community Center, 150 S. Main, Benton, KS. Interment will follow in Benton Cemetery, Benton, KS.

T he family has asked memorial donations be made in care of Heritage Funeral Home to assist with expenses.
