BAKER, DARCIE LEANN, 53 , passed away on January 26, 2022 at Susan B. Allen Memorial Hospital. Darcie was born on October 15, 1968 in El Dorado to Kenneth E. and Barbara S. {Bloir} Lewis. Raised in El Dorado Darcie attended school there and graduated class of 1987 where she played clarinet in the band and enjoyed volleyball. Before she graduated Darcie began working at McDonald's and rose up to management while working there for 14 years. She also worked at RCIL from 2003 to 2011 with her sister and mother; Matfield Green service station with her son and even at Lakepoint for awhile. Darcie enjoyed being on the water at her grandparent's house as a kid and was always a voracious reader with a stack of books always at hand. She enjoyed cooking and would always make enough for everybody and their friends and absolutely loved giving presents to her kids for random holidays. Family was the most important thing to Darcie and she loved her kids; spending time with them or going to the movies; and especially her granddaughters who were her light and joy when they came along. Darcie was a very warm, friendly personality with a great big giving heart that would do anything for anybody especially her kids and their friends who were just an extension of her family. Darcie will be remembered as the most amazing mother, grandmother, sister and friend.

Darcie is survived by her children Joshua (Caitlin), Jacob (Liz) and Stephanie; granddaughters Carley and Audrey; siblings Debi Long(Mark), Diana Tullis(John), Devin Lewis(Shelby), Dean Lewis(Suzanne) and Daneen Brown; cat Athena; best friend Lara Flug and many other family and friends. She was preceded in death by her parents Kenneth and Barbara; grandparents William C. and Elnora {Gilkey} Bloir; great grandmother Ruby Gilkey; husband Terry and brother-in-law Christopher Brown.
