ANDOVER

MILLER, COLLEEN ANN, 88, passed away on March 28, 2019. Colleen was born on April 12, 1930 in Picher, Oklahoma to Henry Lloyd and Cordelia Pauline "Moss" Enders. Colleen had a motherly, loving instinct from an early age. She was a waitress, a custodian at Barton County Community College, worked for the Holyrood Grade School, spent time as a mentor and caretaker in the Unwed Mother's Home in El Dorado and worked for the aging center in Andover. She most enjoyed her time with the unwed mother's where she was able to help guide and counsel the young mother's on how to care for their babies and themselves. Colleen married Samuel Clarence Riddle on July 21, 1948 in Bentonville, AR and they had two daughters. Later she married Robert Eugene Miller on July 13, 1957 in Dalhart, TX and they had two sons. As Colleen aged she enjoyed crotcheting and working on puzzles; she was an avid reader and loved to color in the books that Kat and Dixie would send her. She was a member of the  First Presbyterian Church of El Dorado, KS and will be remembered most as a loving mother, grandmother, and a good friend.

C olleen is survived by her children Katherine Jo Riddle Garbett(Rick), Linda Lea Riddle Commander(Bennie Hoskins), Steven Eugene Miller(Tamara) and Kevin Michael Miller(Angie Sherrill); 8 grandchildren, 8 great grandchildren; her loving little dog Callie and many other family and friends. She was preceded in death by her parents Henry and Cordelia; her sisters Neta June Link and Ida Mae Burton; and 3 brothers that passed as infants.
