ANDERSEN, COLIN QUINN, 32 , passed away on June 6, 2023 at Wesley Medical Center. Colin was born on August 22, 1990 in Holland, Michigan to Craig and Jana, Betraun, Andersen. While at a young age the family moved to Wichita where Colin attended school, first at Selzer Elementary and later at Southeast High School.

After high school Colin enrolled at Butler Community College to earn an EMT status, while also getting his CNA and CMA licenses. He worked at the Victoria Falls facility in Andover, as well as the Catholic Care Center in Belaire. Later he worked for medical staffing agencies that allowed him to work in several facilities in Central Kansas.

Sports was always Colin's thing. He played ice hockey at a young age and was on the wrestling team at Southeast. Later he took up boxing, distance running and triathlons. There was a time when he did not finish less than third place in any of the events he entered, including a first place age group finish in a triathlon at the University of Kansas.

Colin will always be remembered as a warm and loving person who would do anything for anyone who asked for something. He was an easy person to love. At his passing, it was his desire to donate his organs and several people benefited from his gifts.

Colin was preceded in death by his grandparents, as well as his brother, Garrett. He is survived by his parents, Craig and Jana Anderson, as well as his brother, Cameron and his nephew, Dravin Chapman. He will always be in the thoughts of those who knew him.
