SHOLL, CLEVA JO, 78, passed away on December 28, 2020 in Wichita. Cleva was born on January 25, 1942 in Barnsdall, OK to Cleve and Juanita "Robertson" Hurt in a "chicken coop". She grew up in Pawhuska, OK and graduated from there in 1959. She began college at Northeastern State University in Tahlequah, Ok and met Uriah Robert Sholl, Jr. a/k/a Bob Sholl in January of 1960. He asked her to marry him a few times, with a few different rings; starting with a twisted paperclip; and she said yes everytime. After a short whirlwind they married at the First Baptist Church in Pawhuska on June 5, 1960. Cleva continued with her schooling and graduated in 1962 with her teaching degree. Bob was in the military at the time and stationed in California where Cleva would join him for awhile in 1963. They then moved to Tulsa in 1964 and back to Pawhuska in 1969 where she started teaching elementary school and continued until they moved to Grove, OK in 1994 where she would substitute teach. Cleva loved teaching, gardening and keeping her house in order; she was a true matriarch. She loved church and Sunday School and was a beautiful part of the church choir with her amazing voice(that she had fine honed as she took voice lessons for opera). She played Bunko but will always be remembered as a loving wife mother and grandmother that supported all of her kids, both her students and her biological children and would fight tooth and nail for each of them.

Cleva is survived by her husband Bob; children Alan Sholl(Jo Ellen), Susan Riley(Steve) and Cleve Sholl(Tina); brother Jay Lynn Hurt(Susan); sister-in-law Dovie Dyer(Duane); grandchildren Dale Sholl, Mikayla Laffoon(Dustin), Ronni Blankenship(Eric), Chris Sholl, Abby Sholl and Hayden Sholl; great grandchildren Emersyn Cheatwood, Connor Sholl and one other great grandson on the way. She was preceded in death by her parents Cleve in 1951 and Juanita in 2007; her grandma Lucille Robertson and father and mother-in-law Uriah, Sr. and Alta Sholl.

The family will hold a service on Saturday, January 23rd at Grace Harbor Baptist Church (16 W. 11th Street) in Grove, OK.
