Christopher "Chi"
Oalican Antolin
April 1, 1983 — March 27, 2024
Wichita
Christopher "Chi" Oalican Antolin, passed away on March 27, 2024 at the age of 40 in Wichita, Kansas.
Born on April 1, 1983 in Tamuning, Guam. In this new life, he now joins his parents, Ludovina Oalican Antolin and Alfredo Sidayen Antolin, Sr., and sister Maria Victoria Oalican Antolin.
Christopher was known for his strong will, ambition, and sarcastic humor. A talented artist and hardworking person, Christopher left a lasting impression on everyone he met. He could be seen supporting local businesses in his community, uplifting other artists, and making everyone smile and laugh at shows and conventions. While he battled an ongoing decline in health, he never let that effect his love for life and distaste for tomatoes.
He was the most loving father and the friend you could always count on. He will be remembered for his humble heart that he shared with his friends and family. He left a lasting impression through his food at "Manong's Tiny Kitchenette" and his art as creator and founder of "Ichico Comics." His departure is gravely felt by his entire family and countless others who loved him deeply in his wide-network of community.
Christopher is survived by his children, Marissa Raelin Black and McKinley Arianna Black Antolin; his siblings, Emerenciana "Emerie" O. Antolin-Leonen and Celso M. Leonen (Yigo, Guam), Alfredo "Sonny" O. Antolin, Jr. (Agana Heights, Guam), Melchor Michael O. Antolin and Areail K. Sablan (Dededo, Guam), Michelle O. Antolin-Tajalle and Roland Manuel B. Tajalle (Louisville, Kentucky), August Richard O. Antolin (Waite Park, Minnesota), Alili May O. Antolin-Aquino and Erwin D.C. Aquino (Fort Eustis, VA); Honorable mention Barry Trisdale (Lawton, OK); and many cousins, nieces, nephews, and loyal friends.
Visitation will be held from 10:00 a.m. to 2:00 p.m. on Friday, April 5, 2024 and Last respects will be at 2:00 p.m. on Friday, April 5, 2024 in Wichita, KS both at Anchor Baptist Church, 14704 E. Harry, Wichita, KS.
Cremation will follow after Funeral services as he will complete his journey home. Final resting place will be with his parents at Our Lady of Peace Memorial Gardens, Guam.
