THOMASON, CHRISTINE MILDRED EUNIVEE, 92 , a resident of Andover, Kansas, passed away peacefully on March 31, 2025, surrounded by her family under the care of Angles Hospice. Born on December 27, 1932, in Norman, Oklahoma, Christine pursued diverse occupations throughout her life, ultimately dedicating herself to assisting others.

Christine's interests and hobbies encompassed a wide range of activities. She worked in home health and a tannery factory. She also enjoyed taking lots of pictures, gardening, canning, quilting, shopping, cooking, and spending time with her family, particularly savoring ice cream. Christine harbored a profound passion for serving the Lord by caring for others, embodying the spirit of Jesus. She was resolute in providing assistance to those in need.

Renowned for her benevolent and amiable disposition, Christine was always available to support her family regardless of the time of day. Her infectious sense of humor delighted in eliciting laughter through her witty remarks, providing comfort and joy to those around her. Whether offering support or providing assistance, Christine was steadfast in her commitment to her family.

Christine's daily routine involved singing and composing songs. Among her favorite compositions were "I'll Fly Away," "How Great Thou Art," "Jesus Loves Me," and "In The Garden." Music served as a means for Christine to infuse her life with happiness. She also enjoyed yodeling and imparted her knowledge to her grandchildren, teaching them the art of yodeling. Christine's profound love and passion for music permeated every aspect of her being.

Christine's affection for her grandchildren was particularly evident. When informed of the impending arrival of a new child in the family, she would travel from her residence in California to meet her new grandbabies and endeavor to enhance their lives. She maintained regular correspondence with them through phone calls, letters, and mail-sent cards.

Christine Thomason was a beloved woman who cherished her family deeply. Her memory will forever be etched in our hearts, and her absence will be profoundly felt. We hold the belief that she is now experiencing eternal joy with loved ones who have passed before her. We are especially comforted by the knowledge that she is in the embrace of Jesus, receiving the ultimate expression of love.

The Thomason family extends its heartfelt gratitude to Angels Hospice and the Heritage Funeral Home for their exceptional care and support during Christine's final journey.

A funeral service will be held in honor of Christine Thomason on April 8, 2025, at the Faith Baptist Church in Andover, Kansas. The ceremony will commence with a viewing at the church at 1:00 p.m. and conclude with a service at 2:00 p.m. Christine's final resting place will be located at the Tulocay Cemetery in Napa, California.
