LEWIS, CHARLES ERICK, 47 , passed away at Via Christi St. Francis on March 7, 2026 with his family by his side.

Erick was born on October 20, 1978 in Tulare, California. He loved fishing and motorcycles and doing anything outdoors besides raking leaves or mowing the lawn.

Erick was a a blessing to us all. He was definitely one of a kind and had a heart of gold. Always the life of the party Erick was always telling jokes but hearing him laugh so hard at his own jokes was even funnier than the jokes themselves. He had a wild side and was always in a hurry evidenced by being the last one to show up and the first one to leave from family events. Erick could sell ice to an Eskimo and had a personality that drew so many people close to him giving him the ability to make friends faster than most.

Erick is survived by his mother Charlotte Joanne Sullivan of El Dorado; brothers David Lewis of El Dorado, Gordon Lewis of Moore, OK and Ricky Lewis of Atoka, OK; children Destinee Roose of Fortuna, CA, Cameron Lewis of Derby and Ericka Lewis of Derby; grandchildren Hayden and Harvey Hoaglen of Fortuna, CA and his wife Stephanie Lewis of Derby.

A celebration of life will be held Saturday, 3/21, 11:00 a.m., at the El Dorado Civic Center, 201 E. Central, El Dorado, KS 67042.
