Grisham, Charles Albert, 85 , passed away in Augusta on March 21, 2023.

Charles Albert Grisham was born to Charles and Garnet (Rich) Grisham on March 28, 1937 in Ames, Iowa. The family moved to El Dorado, KS where Charles grew up. He married Marsha Lange in 1965 and in 1969 they moved to Burbank, CA. Charles worked for car customizers and aircraft including Lockheed and Menasco. Charles has been retired for the last 20 years and when he returned to El dorado.

A ll his life Charles drew or sketched cars – it was his life's passion. In the 1970s his boss built a car Charles had sketched. Around that time he worked for George Barris who built cars for Hollywood and custom cars for movie stars. He was a member of the Hot Rodders car club in El Dorado for a number of years, and he was the best Morgan car restorer in the United States. Additionally, Charles liked to ballroom dance and was trained by big name people. He also danced country, tango, and other dances, and was a member of several different dance clubs. Charles was known for his dry sense of humor, his storytelling ability, and his absolute love of classical music.

C harles is survived by sons Thomas "Eric" Grisham and David (Carol) Phillip Grisham; brothers David Rich (Marilyn) Grisham, John (Sylvia) William Grisham, and Stephen (Melinda) Grisham; and grandchildren Alanna (Anthony) Milligan and Stefan (Zlatina) Charles Grisham.
