TERHUNE, CARRIE LAVONNE, 74 , died peacefully on July 23, 2018 at Wheatlands Healthcare Center, Kingman.  She was a long time resident of the Kingman area.

S he was born March 15, 1944, and raised in Wichita, the daughter of Benjamin Bennett and Viola Mae (Henshaw) Bennett.  She was one of ten children.  Survived by one brother, Claude Lee Bennett.  First married to Travis Bradwell Cole, she had five children.  He proceeds her in passing (1984).

O n June 21, 1975, she married Curtis Dean Terhune Sr. at Wichita, he survives.  Other survivors include:  son, Charles Cole; daughters, Teresa Cole, Cynthia Terhune, Brenda (Lance) Colle, and Carol (Kip) Poe; helped raise one granddaughter, Tiffany Lopez; 20 grandchildren; and 35 great grandchildren.

C arrie, a lifetime homemaker, enjoyed raising her children with all the ups and downs of life.  She enjoyed cooking, playing games, listening to music, dogs, flowers, her collection of elephants, the company of family and friends, but most of all seeing people smile.

A memorial service will be held Saturday, July 28 at the Kingman Christian Church 501 N. Main Street in Kingman at 10:00 a.m. with Pastor Kelly Jayne officiating.
