Carolyn Trone passed away on March 8, 2022 at age 93.  She was born in Kansas City, MO on July 30, 1928.  She was married to Jack Trone on August 19, 1951.  She is preceded in death by her husband, Jack, her son Steve, and her parents, JC and Minnie Warren.  She is survived by her daughter, Kathy Walter (Harry); her grandchildren, Bryan Walter (Jessica), Leah Maugans (Chris), Anna Walter, Jack Walter, and 6 beautiful great-grandchildren, all of whom she adored.  She was like a second mom to her grandchildren and loved them unconditionally.  She will be fondly remembered by her gift of story telling, her love of KU basketball, her famous (and creative) casseroles.  She lived an unselfish life of loving and giving all she had to others.

Graveside services are pending at White Chapel Memorial Gardens in Wichita.

In lieu of flowers, memorials have been established at East Heights United Methodist Church, Wichita, KS, and Flinthills Services, Inc., El Dorado, KS.
