HOLLINGSWORTH, CAROLYN SUE (ALLMOND), 83, was born in Wichita, KS June 10, 1938. The youngest of 5 children to Asro and Marie Allmond and the only girl. She grew up in a loving home with her brothers Bill, Allen, Jim and Tom and graduated from North High School in 1956. She married her High School love, Jim Hollingsworth on June 14, 1958 and they eventually welcomed a son Brian and a daughter Lori.

Carolyn stayed at home with the kids when they were younger but later worked full time in various office manager positions while always being very active in her church. She filled the role of minister's wife beautifully and was always a part of women's groups, choir, church dinners and any other activities with the congregation. She loved the Lord and her life reflected this in everything she did.

Carolyn is survived by her husband of 63 years, Jim. Her son Brian and his wife Traci, her daughter Lori and her husband Alan, 6 grandchildren, Jessica, Aaron, Wes, Cody, Mason and Abbe and 5 great grandchildren Declan, Rowan, Aelyn, Adrian and Manny. Numerous nieces and nephews, and friends who became family in her heart.

Services for Carolyn will be held at 3:00 p.m. on Saturday, August 21, 2021 at Riverside Christian Church, 1001 N. Litchfield, Wichita, Kansas.
