Caroline Rose
"Tina" Hodgman
January 26, 1964 — October 2, 2020
El Dorado
Hodgman, Caroline Rose "Tina", 56 , passed away on October 2, 2020 at her home in El Dorado, surrounded by family. Carol was born on January 26, 1964 in Quincy, Illinois to Charles William and Alison Elise "Harris" Bradbury. They moved to El Dorado in 1974, where she made her home. She married Troy Gene Harder in 1987, they had 3 children together and remained lifelong friends. Later she married Ken Hodgman, who survives.
Carol was a follower of many hobbies and interests. She enjoyed working with plants and gardens and was considered an accomplished self-taught horticulturalist. She loved working on puzzles with her friends and family, along with watching movies (especially funny ones), and an occasional trip to the casino. Carol loved the outdoors and would spend every moment possible camping at El Dorado Lake. Carol was always a lover of animals and drew a deep connection to them. She was never known to not have a dog by her side or in her heart.
Carol was blessed to have many different circles in her life and has left her mark on many different people. She walked down many paths on her journey—but one thing always remained consistent—Carol was crazy, just crazy—but she was loved.
Carol was preceded in death by her parents and is survived by her children Anne Marie King (Chevy), Charles Jacob Harder(Laela) and Kayla Rose Harder; siblings Evan Carpenter, Orange, CA, Jeff Harris, New York, NY, Matthew Bradbury, Mt. Sterling, IL, Kathy Webb, Louisville, KY, and Laura Schmult, Mt. Sterling, IL; grandchildren Quinn Lee King, Thaddeus Ray King, Khloe Ann Harder and Olivia Rose Swayze; her husband Kenneth Hodgman; her best friend Troy Harder and her favorite little dog Gizmo.
"You can love her with everything you have, and she still won't belong to you. She will run wild with you, beside you with every step but let me tell you something about women who run with wolves, their fierce hearts don't settle between walls and their instinct is stronger than upbringing. Love her wild or leave her there—" Nikki Rowe, Wild Women
