MARIS, CAROL ANN, 77 , Boeing Engineering Secretary, passed away on January 23, 2020 at Clearwater Nursing and Rehabilitation. She was born on September 28, 1943 in Emporia, Kansas to Charles and Isabel "Parks" McConnell, their only child. Carol enjoyed volunteering for the Humane Society and helping find new homes for all the animals. She loved reading, doing puzzles and was constantly on the computer doing research as she loved to learn.

C arol is survived by her children Tammy DeMoss(Dwight) and Darla Kelley Creed; grandchildren Jerry, Derek, Chris, Krystle, and Zack; step grandchildren Mary, Cari and David; great grandchildren Aubrey, Aalayah, Brady, Mya and Justin. She was preceded in death by her parents, Charles and Isabel; grandson Dale Robert DeMoss and husband Gerald Maris.

A graveside service will be held on Tuesday, January 28, 2020 at Bruno Township Cemetery, Andover, KS at 2:00 p.m. with Pastor Jerry Smith officiating.
