Carl "Dick" Richard Krause (April 28, 1938 - January 20, 2024)

It is with heavy hearts that we announce the passing of Carl "Dick" Richard Krause, a beloved husband, father, grandfather, and friend. Born on April 28, 1938, Carl peacefully departed this world on January 20, 2024, leaving behind a legacy of love and cherished memories.

Dick spent the majority of his life in New Jersey, where he dedicated himself to a career as an exterminator. With a strong work ethic and a passion for his craft, he eventually became the proud owner of his own business. Upon retiring from his exterminating career, Dick embraced the opportunity to savor life's simple pleasures.

One such joyous chapter in his life began when he crossed paths with Billie. What started as a friendship quickly blossomed into a deep and enduring relationship that culminated in marriage. Through this union, Dick expanded his family, and he embraced this new chapter with open arms. His devotion to his loved ones became the focal point of his life, bringing him immeasurable joy.

Dick was a man who found contentment in the simple moments, often seen enjoying the company of family and friends on his porch. His love for the outdoors extended to leisurely drives, where he reveled in the beauty of the scenery around him. A gentle soul, Dick's caring and compassionate nature endeared him to everyone he encountered. His social spirit knew no bounds, and he had a natural ability to strike up conversations with anyone, making lasting connections along the way.

Carl "Dick" Richard Krause is survived by his loving wife, Billie, his son Charles Cronk, daughter Vicki Wilson, brother Tim Krouse, five grandchildren, and nine great-grandchildren and many nieces nephews and family. He is preceded in death by his parents, Carl and Gretchen Krause, his first wife Judy, son Kevin Cooper "Casey," and sister Barb.

As we mourn the loss of Dick, let us also celebrate the rich tapestry of his life and the indelible mark he left on the hearts of those who knew and loved him. May he rest in peace, surrounded by the eternal beauty he so cherished in life.
