SMUCKER, CANDY VIOLET, passed away on Saturday, December 30, 2017 at Reeds Cove Health and Rehab after a long battle with her health. Candy was born on December 19, 1949 in West Chicago, Illinois to James and Mertyl Koster. She married Alan Smucker, who preceded in her death on February 17, 2012. She enjoyed reading, cooking and baking and her family was the most important thing to her. She was a stay at home mother and a nurse's assistant and even started a business with her husband in Topeka and handled all of the administrative duties. Candy will be remembered as a loving, caring individual with a wonderful sense of humor.

C andy is survived by her sons Joshua Smucker and Christian Smucker; siblings Rick(Judy) and Diane; grandchild Skyler Smucker and her beloved dog Jacobi. She was preceded in death by her parents and her husband Alan.
