WISE, BOBBY EUGENE, 82, Army Veteran and Truck Driver, passed away on Thursday, December 19, 2019 at Kansas Veteran's Home, Winfield, KS. Bobby was born in Phillipsburg, Kansas to Robert Dewey and Agnes Madge Marie Knox Wise on November 3, 1937. Bobby married Glenna Cottle on May 12, 1979 in Towanda, Kansas. There were many miles traveled and many awards for Bobby to win during his trucking career. He was a member of the American Trucking Association and achieved a 10 year award for safe driving; several awards from Bruenger Co; and 2 million miles safe driving  with Christianson. Bobby was a member of the American Legion and loved restoring antique tractors then going to tractor shows at festivals. He enjoyed riding his golf cart with his dog Duke around the neighborhood; his grandchildren and keeping their scooters and golf cart running for them.

B obby is survived by his loving wife Glenna; children Norma Shumate(Jeff), Lila Aitken(Keith), Russell Peyton, Donna Stareck and Connie Brown; sister Wanda Smith(Johnny); 8 grandchildren; 10 great grandchildren; 1 great-great grandchild and many other family and friends. He is preceded in death by his parents; brothers Norman, Bill and Buck; sisters Maxine Wise and Linda Nuttycomb; and 1 grandson Travis Shumate.

F uneral service will be held on Monday, December 23, 2019 at 1:30 p.m. at Bella Vista Cemetery, El Dorado with Pastor David Crook presiding. Family asks that memorial donations be made in Bobby's memory to The Salvation Army.
