Beverly was born on June 5, 1950 to Leonard and Darlene Martin Beal at SBA. Beverly went peacefully to be with her Lord and Savior on Tuesday, January 16 2024 at SBA. She grew up in the same house at 920 South Atchison in El Dorado Ks. She and her family lived through the 1958 tornado which destoryed much of the El Dorado. She attended Washington School and then Middle School and High School in El Dorado. She graduated 1968 from El Dorado High School. She moved to Topeka with her girl friend Laura. Laura returned to El Dorado but Beverly remained in Topeka and attended Glad Tiding Assembly Of God Church. Little did she know that her future husband Sgt. Mark Somerville would attend the same church. Her brothers were visiting from El Dorado and were celebrating with her, her birthday the weekend that Mark Somerville would attend for the first time. Her brother Donald told Mark that he could sit by her. The rest is history.

Her mom, Darlene raised her to have a servant heart. Her mom was active part of the El Dorado Assembly Of God Church so Beverly naturally followed her foot steps by serving in many different areas in the church as she grew up. Beverly believed very strongly that it is more blessed to serve than to be served. Beverly invited Jesus into her heart at a very early age and never turned back.

After meeting Sgt Somerville in June of 1970, they were engaged in August 1970 and were married on October 16, 1970 at Glad Tiding Assembly Of God Church in Topeka. When Mark was discharged from the Air Force in May 1971, they moved back to her home town. Immediately, she begin to serve at El Dorado Assembly Of God Church as a Nursery Worker, Children Church director and assisted her husband as Youth Sponsor.

They both felt the call of God to go into full time pastoring and being a pastor's wife in 1974. Bev moved with her husband to Ellendale North Dakota so he could go Trinity Bible College for the next two years. Again she assisted her husband as they served as Youth Sponsor at the local Assembly Of God Church. She served many of the students at Trinity Bible College by baby sitting and sewing. She made band uniforms for the College.

After leaving Trinity Bible College in 1977, they entered full time ministry in Kansas. Each move that her husband made from church to church, she always found a place to serve. She would serve the church and the community that they lived in. In 1994, they returned to El Dorado and the Assembly of God Church. Again, she became active in serving the church in many different roles. Again, she served the community of El Dorado by working as a cook at Vintage Place and direct care giver and finally Target Case Manager at Creative Community Living. In 2003, she had her parents move into her home and she took care of them until their death.

Her greatest joy was her family and serving each one of them. Tina was born in July 1972. In 1974, she loss her second child and the doctor warned her not have any more children which broke her heart. Over the next years she and Mark prayed about adopting children. Too their surprise in 1983, Samuel and Rachel became available for adoption. Feeling that it was an answer to prayer, they adopted Samuel and Rachel. Samuel was 3 years old and Rachel was 2 years old. God wasn't finished blessing them, when He added 7 grandchildren.

She was preceded in death by her parents Leonard and Darlene Beal, her brother Donald, son-inlaw Jerrod Rauth and a infant. Those that are left to grieve her passing, are her husband Mark of 53 years of marriage, her daughters, Tina Rauth and Rachel (Jeff) Gropp, and her son Samuel Somerville. The grandchildren that are also grieving are CJ Rauth, Chris Rauth, Jeremiah Rauth, Elijah Vaughters, Hannah Vaughters, Elijah Somerville and Toby Somerville. She has one remaining brother, Fred Beal who is also grieving her death. There are many friends, many cousins, nieces and nephew that are grieving her passing. Her grand daughter, Hannah was going to have her great grandson in May of 2024.

Beverly requested that Memorials should be given to El Dorado Senior Center or Family Worship Service Children Ministry. Family requested that no flowers be given.
