Jameson, Betty Louise, 90 , passed away December 11, 2022 in Wichita.

B etty Louise Igo was born on November 11, 1932 at home in rural Cement, Oklahoma. She was the 7th of 9 children born to John and Susie Myrtle who were ranchers. In 1949 she met my dad, Doyle Jameson, at the movie theatre in Cement Oklahoma. He worked in New Mexico so they had a long distance courtship until they married in May of 1950. Jerry was born August 1951, Joanna in December 1953, James in 1959 and Jennifer was born February 1961. They lived in Duncan, Oklahoma until 1969 when a job took them to Wichita, Ks. They lived in rural Whitewater for 41 years. She spent the last 11 years in Wichita near her daughter.

M om leaves behind one brother, John Igo of Cement Ok, daughter Jenny (Dan) Bennett, granddaughters Stephanie (Chad) Fowler, Jamen (Josh) Steelman, grandsons Justin Jameson, Jake (Danielle) Jameson, Jesse Jameson, Max Bennett, and John Bennett. 6 great-grandchildren and numerous nieces and nephews. She was preceded in death by her husband Doyle Jameson, sons James Jameson and Jerry Jameson and her daughter, Joanna Jameson Unrein.

C elebration of Life will be held on Friday December 16, 2022 at Palmyra Baptist Church, Benton, KS. at 11am.

S ervices are under the direction of Heritage Funeral home Andover, KS Memorials may be sent to Traditions Hospice or Palmyra Baptist Church, 999 NW Butler Rd, Benton, KS 67017
