Arlene Grace (Harms) Morris, 88 , Eureka, went home to be with the Lord on July 21, 2019. She was born November 23, 1930 to Edwin and Luella (Vogt) Harms in Newton, KS.

A rlene graduated from Burns High School and then attended Stewart Beauty College in Topeka, KS where she completed certification as a beautician. She then opened Arlene's Beauty Shop in her home in Park City, KS after her marriage to the love of her life, Bill J. Morris.

A rlene & Bill were blessed with five children: sons from Bill's first marriage - Steven Robert and John Wayne who joined the family home ~1960 with sisters Cindy Ann and Denise Jo. Another brother, Bill Joe, Jr., was born in 1965.

E arly on there were many family visits to lakes for fishing and boating fun. After living in Park City many years, Bill and Arlene lived in Valley Center, Fall River Lake and then Eureka, KS. Through the years they attended and truly enjoyed many ball games in support of their children and grandchildren. Another favorite activity was playing BINGO at the Eureka Nursing Center!

A rlene was preceded in death by her parents, husband Bill Morris, and brothers Harry and Lawrence Harms. She is survived by sister Norma (Harms) Bledsoe, sons John (Kristie), Steve (Debi), and Joe (Angie) Morris, daughters Cindy (John) Taylor and Denise Mullin. Also surviving are grandchildren: Luellen (Mullin) Hooper, Laura (Mullin) Wallace, Lucas Mullin, Melissa & Jessica Morris, Allyson (Morris) Jones, Jeremy, Jake & Ty Morris, and Marna (Taylor) Kalp. There are numerous great-grandchildren whom she loved dearly. Family was everything to her.

V isitation will be held at Heritage Funeral Home, 206 E. Central Ave in El Dorado from 5:00 – 7:00 pm on Thursday, July 25, 2019. The s ervice will be held at Eureka United Methodist Church, 521 N. Main St., Eureka, KS at 1:00 p.m. on Friday, July 26, 2019.
