Tony grew up in Butler County, where he attended school in Augusta before finishing his education in El Dorado. After high school he worked for the El Dorado Fire Department then later proudly served his country in the Army during the Vietnam War. Demonstrating a level of bravery and commitment that would define much of his life.Tony was an all around handyman who also had a knack for autobody work and auto repair.

As a man of simple tastes, Tony loved fishing and sharing moments of mischief with his family and friends. Known for his ornery sense of humor, he had a unique way of keeping life light for those within his close circle. An avid Kansas City Chiefs fan, Tony's enthusiasm for his team was infectious, and he cherished watching the games and celebrating their victories.
