Andrew Vincent Lawrence , passed away at his home in Andover on January 4th, 2025. He succumbed to a heart attack brought on by complications to Myotonic Dystrophy, a disease he had bravely fought through the years. He was a good son, brother, uncle and friend to many and will be missed by everyone.

Andrew always had a zest for life that left that left an indelible mark on those around him. As a 12 year graduate of the Andover School system, he excelled in academics and athletics. He was a natural on the baseball field and basketball court and always brought energy, enthusiasm and a winning spirit to every event. He graduated in 1995 while making many life long friends along the way. Andrew attend the University of Kansas after high school and moved back from Kansas City to the greater Wichita area to continue his academic career at Wichita State and fulfill his passion in the service industry.

In 2012, Andrew met the love of his life in Andrea Calderon. Together they lived a life full of love, fun and laughter. Andrea's children, Jack and Alexis Gladfelter welcomed Andrew in their hearts and became a wonderful part of their lives.

In 2014, Andrew became a member of the Collision Center of Andover team where his talent and passion for customer service made him a trusted employee who got the job done. His natural ability to connect with people made him a favorite among the customers who appreciated his sense of humor at their unfortunate vehicle moments.

Andrew's life was always filled with the simple joys. A forever Minnesota Vikings fan, he never missed a chance to cheer for his team. He loved movies and books and his keen wit made him a fantastic conversationalist. Whether he was sharing a laugh with his friends on their annual float trip or playing cards every Saturday night, he found many joys. Andrew's favorite times were when he was at home with his faithful cat "Dude" at his side.

Andrew's legacy is one of warmth, kindness and reliability. Always the chill guy, his laid back demeanor and ever present smile made him a friend to many. He will be remembered in their hearts forever.

Andrew is survived by his devoted partner Andrea and her children Jack and Alexis, his parents Stan And Dian (Easter) Lawrence, his brother Ben Lawrence (Katie), his sisters Tracey Rumsey (Bruce) and Jamie Langhofer (Tyson); twelve nieces and nephews and his large extended family and friends; all of whom were blessed to have known him. He is also survived by his loyal feline companion Dude.

Andrew Vincent Lawrence touched the lives of many and will be deeply missed. His kindness, humor and love for life remind us all to cherish the moments we share with those we hold dear.

A visitation to honor Andrew's life will be held on Saturday, January 11, 2025, at 10:00 a.m., followed by a funeral service at 11:00 a.m., both at Chapel Hill United Methodist Church, 1550 N Chapel Hill St, Wichita, Kansas. Interment will follow at Bruno Township Cemetery in Andover.
